Chihiro Ono

Born in Chiba, Japan, a London based, classically trained, performing artist with violin, viola and other tools. Chihiro has worked as a performer with ARCO, Squib-box (London) in Experimental Music, Ensemble Modern (Frankfurt), CHROMA, Phaedra (London) in Contemporary Music, London Mozart Players (London), Tokyo Symphony Orchestra (Tokyo) etc in Classical Music. Her repertoire ranges from Baroque (period instruments), Classical, Contemporary, Experimental Music, Improvisation to Noise. She is inspired by geopolitics, choreography, architecture, cinematography, folkloric music/sounds/movements, everyday sounds of life, and silence.
